When the brow becomes heavy, it can affect the appearance of the eyes, creating a tired appearance.

Lift and Open

Since the eyes are the first to show signs of aging, it makes sense that the brow lift is popular, especially among younger patients. It also often accompanies a facelift. With age, the eyebrow drops to or below the orbital rim and can create a tired or angry look.

To create an open, alert expression requires repositioning the eyebrows with a brow lift. A brow lift can be performed in 2 ways: Using a less-invasive approach through the upper eyelid to lift the brow or with a the more invasive endoscopic brow lift.

High-Tech Brow Lifts

At TFI we have proven success using FDA-approved innovative, non-surgical ultrasound and radiofrequency technology for non-surgical brow lifting. Ask Dr. Few if you are a good candidate for these advanced treatments alone or in combination with a less invasive surgical brow lift in Chicago.

Procedural Steps

Anesthesia

Dr. Few will use either oral, IV, or general anesthesia so that you remain comfortable during your procedure. Oral anesthesia procedures are performed on-site at The Few Institute in a fully accredited operating room.

The Incision

Traditional Endoscopic Brow Lift – Several small incisions are made and hidden in the hair through which small endoscopes are placed underneath the skin. The muscles and underlying structures are repositioned to move the eyebrows up without removing skin while keeping your hairline in approximately the same position.

Less Invasive Brow Lift – An incision is made either in the brow and/or the upper eyelid crease (the same position used for an upper eyelid lift) to place the brow in a more youthful position. This is a less invasive approach for patients who want to reposition their eyebrows without significant downtime.

Closing the incisions

Dr. Few closes his incisions with sutures, skin adhesives, or surgical clips.
