When it comes to cosmetic surgery, we’ve all been conditioned to believe that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. But a new non-surgical facelifting technology is challenging that notion. Dr. Few was featured live in Times Square with Deborah Roberts this morning to reveal what the Silhouette Instalift has done for two of his patients and what it can do for you too.
The Silhouette Instalift is FDA cleared in the U.S. and has been used for years in Europe. It’s a 30-minute procedure that uses threaded biodegradable cones to provide instant results with none of the downtime that comes with surgery.
So when nearly 60-year-old New Jersey grandmother Phyllis Cunningham became dissatisfied with what she saw in the mirror, she turned to Dr. Few and the Instalift to look as young as she feels, without having to go under the knife or general anesthesia.
“You get to see the effect right away, but without the recovery time,” Dr. Few explained to Roberts.
During the procedure, Dr. Few placed the threads and cones into the cheeks and jawline areas to gently lift and tighten the skin. Fully awake, Phyllis told Roberts that she was comfortable throughout the procedure.
Patient number two was 57-year-old Victoria Frederick who was beginning to show signs of age-related changes in her face. After her lunchtime Instalift, she told cameras the 30-minute procedure gave her 10 years back.
As for Phyllis, she’s seen continued improvement with her results. “I look gorgeous, and I feel it!”
